Miel de Cannes: Responsible production in collaboration with private and public partners, enabling the installation of beehives on the rooftops of Cannes.

Miel de Cannes, an artisanal treasure
A gourmet treat that combines exquisite flavours with benefits for your well-being

Our Miel de Cannes, a genuine all-flower honey, is extracted pure and raw using traditional know-how. Each jar embodies the richness of preserved nature and the care taken at every stage of production.
With its unctuous, gourmet texture, this honey offers a subtle balance between sweetness and complexity. On the palate, it reveals a fruity, woody, floral and slightly malty flavor. Connoisseurs will recognize notes of white clover, rose, tamarisk, oak, citrus, maple, boxwood, and even a saline touch reminiscent of the surrounding Mediterranean.
Winner of the prestigious Paris Honey International Awards 2024, our honey is distinguished by its natural richness in antioxidants, enzymes and essential nutrients. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, while stimulating energy. A perfect ally for promoting wound healing, soothing sore throats and improving sleep quality, it's much more than a simple gustatory pleasure: it's a treasure trove for your well-being.
Honey awarded for its quality and packaging

Our honey won two prizes at the Paris Honey Awards 2024: awarded by Gold Quality Award for its exceptional quality, and by the Platinum Packaging Award for its elegant and innovative design. These awards underline our commitment to offering a product of excellence in both form and substance.
The guarantee of Quality
In collaboration with the Cannes town council, we follow well-defined specifications for the production of our honey. This enables us to guarantee the sustainability and respect of the various criteria of sustainable beekeeping, in order to obtain a final product of the highest quality.

A Passion for honey
Our magnificent city of Cannes is very active in terms of developing green spaces, where bees thrive thanks to this beautiful and rich diversity of vegetation.
In fact, Miel De Cannes contains honeydew and is woody, malty, flowery and fruity.

A 100% honey made in Cannes
Our honey production comes exclusively from hives placed on the rooftops of the City of Cannes. The bees that forage in cities produce excellent, pollution-free honey, thanks to the diversity of flower species in the urban environment. They stay in the same place all year round to avoid mixing honeys from different areas.

Visit Protection of the‘urban environment
Bees help preserve biodiversity and pollinate vegetable gardens.
This will help those with small crops in towns within a 3 km radius of the apiary to achieve higher yields and thus better production.

The story of Miel de Cannes
The meeting of a passionate beekeeper and a Cannes woman in love with her city
Combining the two was an obvious choice, and gave birth to Miel de Cannes, a responsible production with private and public partners from Cannes.
The honey comes exclusively from hives placed on the city's rooftops all year round, so that they are never moved, to avoid mixing honeys from different areas.
Miel de Cannes was born out of passion, a quest for quality and 100% local, responsible production.

Testimonials from our partners

Today's tourist establishments can't afford not to be socially and environmentally responsible.
That's why we didn't hesitate for a second when Lisa & Didier suggested we install beehives on our roof... Well, to tell the truth, we did hesitate a little when we imagined thousands of bees above our heads, but the passion of these two beekeepers (and their sweet tooth too) convinced us.
The result is beyond our expectations: the first honey production is surprisingly very floral, and we've learned a lot about the essential role of bees!
